The Consulate General of Jamaica in New York joins the Government and people of Jamaica, and the wider Diaspora community, in mourning the passing of our beloved Consul General, Mrs. Alsion Roach Wilson, CD.

We extend heartfelt thanks to the public for the many words of comfort, prayers, and expressions of sympathy that have been shared with us during this difficult time. The staff of the Consulate are deeply touched by your kindness and solidarity, as we remember a leader who was not only our Consul General but also a mentor, friend, and guiding light who cared deeply for each member of this team.

We express our deepest condolences to her husband, Mr. Omar Wilson, her children Vanessa, Patrick, and Brian, and to her extended family. Our thoughts and prayers remain with them as they navigate this profound loss.
