Flori Paquette announces the release of ‘Under the Tamarisk Tree’

ROSEVILLE, Calif.  – “If you have ever been curious how someone could get caught up in a cult, then, read my story,” Flori Paquette says. In “Under the Tamarisk Tree” (published by Xlibris), she tells the story of how she started out as a newly born-again Christian and wound up brainwashed, in the clutches of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

This book describes how Paquette and her husband went from being a young, married, and happy Christians, into being trapped in a religious cult. For 10 years, they were held captive while they raised their young family. Herein, readers will find out about the atrocities that took place in the abusive Tamarisk Fellowship and their exodus from slavery.

“People need to be aware that events like the ones that happened to my family are happening in the world we live in,” Paquette points out. “They need to be aware for the sake of their friends and loved ones. If someone knows someone who may be caught in something of this nature, there are trained professionals available who can help set them free.”

“Under the Tamarisk Tree” aims to remind readers that well-intended people can be influenced to do bad things and not all churches are safe and healthy to be a part of. However, there is hope and healing for those who have been used and abused in evil situations.
