House meets Tuesday on money laundering and to amend the Constitution

A Sitting of the House of Assembly is scheduled for Tuesday, February 28th, 2023, with Papers to be laid by the the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister for Commerce and the Minister for Infrastructure. There is one Motion for consideration, and it calls on Parliament to authorize the Minister of Finance to borrow USD 5,220,000 from the Caribbean Development Bank to finance the Building Capacity and Resilience in the Health Sector to Respond to the Coronavirus — 2019 Project. The loan is repayable in twenty years after the grace period of three years from the loan agreement date in eighty equal or approximately equal and consecutive quarterly instalments.
