The five-month program came to an end with a Pitching Exercise which featured 8 young entrepreneurs between the ages of 16 and 30. The immediate goal of the training is to develop and launch social ventures while also building the long-term capacity of social entrepreneurs and organizations. Participants underwent a series of virtual workshops in the five (5) months which guided them in developing and validating a business plan for their enterprise concept. These plans were presented to a panel of evaluators comprising namely Ms. Keithlin Caroo, Founder of Helen’s Daughters, Ms. Mindy-Luquiana Chicot, Managing Director of OUTLUQ and Ms. Nelta Willie, Corporate Responsibility Value Chain Optimization Specialist of ALDI Sud. The young entrepreneurs will be assisted with business support, technical assistance and other business advisory services as they prepare to launch their social enterprises.
