From our humble beginnings in the small villages of Praslin and Assou Canal in St. Lucia, we could never have imagined where our shared journey would lead us.
Backin secondary school, we embarked on small ventures together—raising funds for our prom, participating in the Junior Achievement program, and discovering the joy of creating something meaningful while giving back to our community.
Our passion for engineering and desire to make a difference ignited when we first encountered robotics through the SPICE program in Barbados in 2016. Inspired,
we returned home determined to share this knowledge. By 2017, we were training teachers and students across St. Lucia in robotics and STEM, witnessing firsthand
the spark of curiosity and the blossoming of potential in young minds.
When the world faced unprecedented challenges during the pandemic, we saw an opportunity to continue giving back. Orbtronics was born out of a simple idea: to equip the next generation with the skills that had opened doors for us. Our first summer program was a testament to that vision, as we guided students through Python programming and the creation of a prototype medical courier drone.
Fast forward to where we are today, working on projects and initiatives that have a global impact—all while still giving back every step of
the way.
