  1. Juice the Blood Oranges: Cut the blood oranges in half and use a juicer or citrus press to extract the juice. You should get around 1 cup of juice.
  2. Prepare the Guava: If you’re using fresh guava, peel and remove the seeds. Blend the guava flesh until smooth. You’ll need about 1/2 cup of pureed guava. If you’re using guava juice, just measure out 1/2 cup.
  3. Grate the Ginger: Peel and grate the fresh ginger root. You’ll need about a teaspoon of grated ginger to give the drink that nice zingy kick.
  4. Mix the Base: In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed blood orange juice, guava puree or juice, and grated ginger. Stir well to incorporate everything.
  5. Sweeten (Optional): Taste the mixture. If it’s too tart, add 1-2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup and stir until fully dissolved.
  6. Add Sparkling Water: Pour in the sparkling water, and stir gently. Add more or less depending on how fizzy you like your drink. If you prefer a more intense flavor, use less sparkling water.
  7. Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the drink mixture over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and blood orange slices for a pop of color.
  8. Enjoy: Serve immediately as a refreshing and vibrant drink!

Optional Variations:

  • For a boozy twist, add a shot of rum or vodka to each glass.
  • You can also blend everything with ice for a slushie-style drink.
  • Add a dash of lime juice for extra citrusy brightness.

This drink is as beautiful as it is tasty, and it’s guaranteed to wow guests with its bold, fresh flavors!
