Caribbean Association of Banks Conference 2022 Starts in St. Lucia Tuesday

The Caribbean Association of Banks will hold a five-day Conference in St. Lucia starting on Tuesday. The October 25-29 CAB Conference will take place at the Harbor Club Saint Lucia, Curio Collection by Hilton. The conference is being described as the foremost gathering of the regional financial services industry. The feature address will be delivered by Dr. Didacus Jules, the Director General of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States. Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre is slated to speak at the CAB 2022 conference. There are several speakers slated for the five-day conference, among them Mr. David Schwartz – Dr. Didacus Jule – Director General, OECS Dr. Graham Bright, Head – Compliance and Operations, Euro Exim Bank Ltd President and CEO, FIBA | Financial & International Business Association and Dr. Jan Yves Remy – Director, Shridath Ramphal Centre for International Trade Law, Policy, and Services (SRC) of University of the West Indies.

Some of the topics to be discussed include “The Unintended Impact of International Economic Sanctions on the Caribbean’s Financial Services Industry”. Also on the agenda is a conversation on “Supply Chain Resilience – The Drawback of Interdependence while Maintaining Connectivity”.
