Life of Hope Presents Haitian Culture Day 2024

Brooklyn, New York: Life of Hope (LOH) proudly presents Haitian Culture Day on Saturday, May 11th!

At a time when Haiti is going through one of the more difficult periods in its history, this annual initiative was created to address the unique barriers faced by this community, including economic, cultural, and access to services. Join us from 10am to 1pm for an electrifying parade, filled with colors, music, and the spirit of celebration! Then, keep the party going from 1pm to 6pm with a
day packed with festivities at Flatbush Junction @ Hillel Plaza!

Encouraged by the New York Senate Resolution No. J553 – May is Haitian New York’s Heritage Month and the support of elected officials’ endorsement of Haitian Culture Day Parade & Street Festival annual initiative; LOH’s cultural committee, Ayiti Nou La Toujou (ANLT) has organized this year’s event to “Celebrate, Honor & Uplift” community morale and please click to RSVP.

The Haitian Culture Day parade will kickoff (10:00 AM) at the intersection of Nostrand Ave (Toussaint Louverture Blvd) and Church Ave (Pierre Toussaint Blvd) followed by a street resource festivity that will take place at Flatbush Junction | Hillel Plaza (UNTIL 6:00PM).
