An Extraordinary Gazette has published the amendment to the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic [Public Omnibus Fares] which gives effect to increases in bus fares islandwide. Statutory Instrument No. 77 of 2022 of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic (Public Omnibus Fares) (Amendment) Regulations authorizes bus far increases effective today, Monday July 4th, 2022. The bus far for the long route detailed in the published regulations is Castries to Morne Sion, La Pointe/Delcer/Mongouge is $12.00. Castries to Choc is $1.75 and to Gros Islet town $2.75.
