While police did not explicitly name Minaj, a spokesperson confirmed the arrest of a 41-year-old American woman at Schiphol Airport due to possession of soft drugs. Minaj took to social media post early Sunday local time to share her side of the story, expressing frustration and alleging attempts to derail her tour. She recounted her experience, citing a series of perceived injustices and asserting her innocence. “After sitting in a jail cell for 5-6 hours, my plane still didn’t take off for another 20 mins once I boarded” the 50-minute flight from Amsterdam, she wrote.

Undeterred by the challenges, Nicki Minaj remained determined to overcome the obstacles, promising to provide evidence and pursue legal recourse against those involved. In a Sunday social media post, she declared her intention to ‘have the lawyers and GOD take it from here, though,’ indicating her unwavering commitment to her career.

In a statement posted early Sunday, Minaj apologized for the inconvenience and vowed to make amends by arranging a rescheduled concert date. She remained resolute in her commitment to her fans, affirming her intention to continue with her upcoming shows in Manchester and Birmingham. “Please, please, please accept my deepest and most sincere apologies,” Minaj wrote. They sure did know exactly how to hurt me today, but this, too, shall pass.”

Despite the setback, Minaj’s resilience shines through as she navigates the aftermath of her arrest, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to her craft and fans.
