Please join the Caribbean Equality Project and our community partners as we proudly march in the 2024 Queens Pride Parade to celebrate our diverse Caribbean culture and amplify Caribbean LGBTQ+ visibility in Queens. Our friends at Q-WAVE and GAPIMNY will march with us in solidarity.
2024 marks the Caribbean Equality Project’s 9th anniversary of advocating for Caribbean LGBTQ+ Voices in New York. Pride is still a protest, and we will march and dance to continue centering joy and affirming Caribbean LGBTQ+ identities under the theme of “Live Pridefully: We Will Not Be Erased.” In a country (even in NY) that continues to threaten our rights and lives, this theme aligns our advocacy to fight back, while presenting a contingent inclusive of our Afro- and Indo-Caribbean cultural backgrounds and ancestry, as we advocate for a more transformative NYC—one based on love, justice, and liberation.
