The best of St. Lucian is on show at the Castries City Hall as the Jazz and Arts Festival intensifies this week.

Art and the City forms part of the Arts Component for the 2023 Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival. It presents an interactive showcase of emerging Saint Lucian artists complemented by selected
works of other notable artists regionally and internationally.

The City of Castries is the central hub for everything Arts during the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival– a space to enjoy the confluence of rhythm, colour and movement. Castries is being transformed into a creative space that sets the ambience for an interactive, cross-cultural journey of artwork from local, renowned and burgeoning artists. Set against the backdrop of the vibrant Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival, the City of Castries is the gallery space that features modern and contemporary genres that span visual, auditory and performing pieces.

From Sunday to Thursday preceding Main Stage, the five-day event will invite artists to create an imaginative world and allow visitors and patrons to enjoy imagination and creativity in its limitless expressions. St. Lucia’s most prolific jazz musician, Luther Francois will take centre stage at the Pavilion at the Ramp in Rodney Bay on Thursday to
showcase a body of work going back decades.
