The St. Lucia Social Development Fund has invited the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture to be part of its Crime Risk Reduction Program that involves the formation of Government Ministries and Agencies and Non-Governmental Organizations.
The SSDF views this alliance as a mechanism for collaborative multi-sectoral approach which drives the conceptualizing, planning, and implementing of crime risk reduction interventions at the community and national levels.
Cabinet has endorsed the establishment of the Alliance.
Chamber members have been invited to sign up to this initiative and to signal interest in being a representative on this Alliance.
The first meeting of the Alliance is slated for October 31st.
