Launch of PACE Justice Will Take Place on Tuesday

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Multi-Country Office for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean will launch of the Partnership of the Caribbean and the European Union on Justice (PACE Justice) Regional Program on 17 October, 2:30pm.

The event is a signal of the collective commitment to strengthening the justice sector in the region. PACE Justice is a criminal justice reform project implemented by UNDP with funding from the Delegation of the European Union.

It will reduce case backlogs in the criminal justice system by enhancing the institutional capacities of prosecutors, courts, prisons, and police across the Caribbean.

The project is supported by governments and key justice decision makers in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Guyana, St Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad and Tobago, as well as regional justice bodies
